The VARIOKIT Cantilevered Parapet System is based upon our core civil engineering system VARIOKIT.  Thanks to a standardised kit of parts, available to purchase or rent, a cost-effective but capable system can be provided to meet your specific project requirements.

The system can be easily designed to work around any bridge-specific design requirements and obstructions to the tracked system to move the formwork along the span.  Curved spans are easily accounted for, and the system provides a reliable, simple and cost-effective method to help keep your project on time and within cost.

  • VARIOKIT Parapet Track: The parapet track is suspended from the underside of the bridge by means of rails and roller units. As a result, the parapet which is to be formed is always accessible.

  • VARIOKIT Parapet Carriage: The parapet carriage moving on the bridge superstructure can easily be adapted to accommodate obstructions and any changes in the cross-section. All necessary adjustment work is carried out from the working platform.

  • VARIOKIT Parapet Carriage: Moving the parapet carriage takes place both cost-effectively and site compliant by means of steel profiles. As a rule, no anchoring is required in the structure and horizontal forces are transferred via friction.
