Oriented Stranded Board

OSB uses the same system as plywood: the opposing-orientation of wood fibres creates rigidity, allowing a very stiff panel without being too heavy.  This makes the panel ideal for a range of construction applications.  There are two types of OSB board.  OSB2 is engineered for load-bearing applications and dry conditions, whilst OSB3 is more suitable for moist/humid conditions
