Lubi pumps - A comprehensive pumping solution manufacturer is coming up with its corporate house in Ahmedabad. The project is spread across 1,65,000 sqft area. The commercial project of Lubi Industries - a world largest exporter will be located on the Sardar Patel ring road of Ahmedabad.
Requirements
Lubi corporate house is a 45 m height office building consists of 7 nos. floors. Total area of the project is approx 3500 m2 with 2 nos. basements. The total slab area of basement level is 2900 m² while the ground floor level is 1500 m². The north side of the project has 8 cantilever floors of 6.00 m span, the south side has 11.00 m cantilever span at the height of 17.00 m. The floor to floor height of upper basement to lower basement is 4.6 m and lower basement to ground floor is 6.0 m. The floor to floor height of ground floor to 7 typical floors is 4.5 m. Customer was looking for the complete formwork solution of the project that offers speed of construction and better productivity.

PERI solution
PERI provided complete formwork solution for the project including slab and columns. Newly launched PERI ALPHADECK was used for slabs and universal formwork system DUO was used for columns. Total 700 m2 of PERI ALPHADECK was supplied for the project to construct the slab of 270mm thickness. For columns, 300 m2 DUO was supplied. ALPHADECK has only 3 nos. components (i.e. Panels, drophead and props) which reduced the requirement of inventory at site considerably. In addition, through the use of the ALPHADECK drophead which allows early striking depending on slab thickness and strength of concrete, the panels were used for the next cycle.
